Dorian Shaddix's brilliant blue eyes opened up and adjusted lazily to the still-fuzzy landscape around him; sterilized, white and cold, where he could almost see every breath escape him in a mist, it took him all of about five seconds to realize he was laid up in the nurse's office. With a groan he ran his hand over his head and cheek, where the final stages of a bruise dotted his perfect, tanned face. With another groan he sat up enough so that he could feel his phone poke irritably into his pocket, and he pulled it out to see there were eight new messages on his phone. The date and time in particular struck him as odd: it was day two of junior year. But...hadn't the school blown up at the end of day one, junior year?
He took the time to rifle through the messages, and it was plainly obvious who they were from and what gender they were: that teacher has a lot of nerve punching you like that, dearest! and I'll have his throat cut for you by Friday. We'll be together soon my love <3, and, in one case, Hope you're doing good. Now wake up, bastard. I need someone to cheat off of in Alchemy. -Mag
Had it all been a dream?
Damn. That was some Inception level shit.

Schwing!" that was broken now and then by a monotone "BONER ALERT" echoed through the Pre-Calc room.

IC: Maglod was pretty sure that the teacher was screaming something, and that some sort of alarm was blaring in the class, but right now, all of his senses were muted except when dealing with Megan. He literally could not hear, see, smell or feel anything but her right now.

The aluminum burst in the air and created a thick cloud of reddish smoke that blotted out the lights and obscured vision. When it cleared, Desde was sitting calmly with cinnamon sticks and corresponding sweet sauce, and Maglod and Megan were gone.
Elsewhere, on the lawn outside the window, two extremely attractive teens sat up as one and groaned, looking up towards the second floor they'd been thrown from.

The Pre-Calculus teacher was reaching for the Ibuprofen he kept handy underneath his desk when the classroom door tentatively opened. A brunette girl poked her head through the gap between door and doorjamb and soon withdrew the rest of her body. The door closed with a click -- she winced -- and she rushed to the teacher's desk to drop off a slip of paper before race-walking to a seat in the back, fully aware (as her tinged cheeks showed) that most of the class was staring at her.
Ibuprofen temporarily forgotten, the teacher lifted the permission slip to his spectacled face.
Mr. Bronstein:
I, Mr. Lancaster, would like to inform you that I suffered a car accident whilst driving my daughter, Corinthia, to school today, hence her tardiness. Please call me at the attached cell phone number if you have any questions.
