TAFFC: Que Sera Sera

IC: He blinked, tenatively peering inside the can.

He saw.

Steadily tiiiiiilting himself back, he pulled out his Pepsi from his bag. "Thanks, but I'm good. I usually keep the punch to keep the spirits in good favor." he said, with, again, remarkable composure.

IC: For once, Luke wasn't bored out of his mind by Pre Calculus.

Demon summoning and explosions of punch.

Turning out to be a good year.

IC: Blaze just sighed and sat down on an empty patch of grass.

IC: Corinthia

It was about this time that Corin noticed one of the windows was half-broken open.

Temporarily distracted from her notes, she leaned over to the window next to her desk and looked outside. Had something been thrown into the classroom or out of it?

She noticed two students below, lying on the grass with a laptop beside them. Had they fallen out? They were rather close, actually, intertwined like threads in fabric. Maybe they were hurt -- should she call a nurse?--

An epiphany. Corin pulled away from the window, her back ramrod straight and her face burning, and returned to her notes with renewed vigor.

IC: He chuckled, tossing her a non-possesed can.

"Am I gonna have to go get Friar Tuckleston to put wards on these things?" he joked, taking a sip of his delicious carbonic acid.

IC: Luke stared at the ceiling, willing the tile to lift up.

Nope, nothing.

IC: "Oh fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine" he said, dragging out the vowel because silliness.

Noticing Corin's position and expression, he gave a sympathetic wince and produced a portable set of blinds from his pack, placing them in front of the window.

IC: ...

"I guess I won't have a story for Dor, then."

IC:

As the scene unfolded, one pair of eyes watched intently. Their owner's head was cocked to the side slightly, violet eyes taking in every detail, in an attempt to understand what was going on. So many moving people, words, events, and references that flew right over her head.

But one person stood out as the center of all the commotion, quite possibly the only person that actually knew what was going on. Said person was apparently known as "Desde", information filed away for a later date.

"I truly have no idea what is going on here. This group dynamic is strange."

IC: Corinthia

"I'd daresay a lot of girls would be fine with a football team-related hormonal incident," Corin pointed out as she adjusted the portable blinds.

IC: Corinthia

Corinthia shrugged. "I'm just saying. Girls will be girls."

Drawn by some morbid impulse, she peeked through the blinds again. Yes, the boy and girl were still at it. Fleetingly she imagined herself down there, oblivious to stares; then she shut down the thought with the counter-thought that she would much prefer a make-out session to be in private and closed the blinds again.

IC:

"You mean this isn't normal behavior?" Rebekah asked Desdemona curiously, head still cocked slightly as she endeavored to understand what was going on.

"I thought this was normal, and what they told me was wrong."

IC: Luke finally looked over. "Nothing is normal or not normal here. You might as well give up on making a discovery in that direction."

"I've tried for years."

IC:

There was a long, long pause. The teenager's forehead wrinkled in confusion, as she worked to comprehend the response, and its implications. The expression was somewhat surprising, a drastic departure from the expressionless stoic moments ago.

This, in contrast, was almost normal looking.

"I don't think I understand, miss."

IC: "Rule of thumb:" the all-too-experienced baritone said, raising a finger.

"Is it not normal? Then that's what passes for normal here. I learned that back when I first met Dor and Mag. And Desde." he added, after a moment's consideration.
