TAFFC: Que Sera Sera

IC:

This response only seemed to confuse her further, as she leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms. Violet eyes rolled up to the corner of their sockets, their owner deep in thought.

"So.... What's unusual is normal, what's normal is bizarre. But since the bizarre is the new normal, doesn't that mean it's bizarre, since it's normal? And the normal stuff is now bizarre, so it's normal, but then it loops back around to being bizarre again..."

"..."

"This place makes no sense, I'm confused."

"And why is the teacher drinking straight from the bottle."

IC: Luke

"I told you, give up now."

IC: "No it's easy. What you would generally consider as "not normal" is the norm for this place. You're thinking about it too hard."

He glances at he teacher. "And honestly? I don't blame him." he said, with a wry glance at his emo bestie.

IC: "Yeah, figured apology by food was smart." Jol explained.

IC:

"Why didn't you say that in the first place? That made so much more sense." After a pause, she held out a hand to no one in particular, as if offering to shake hands. "I'm Rebekah Fell."

"And why is it important if he has the stromboli? How have you done a bad thing?"

IC: The teacher smirks, siently shaking his head.

You got lucky, Desdemona. I'm more astute than that. He thinks openly, knowing she will hear.

Meanwhile, her eternally prepared yet clueless compatriot blinked. Glancing up at the clock and affirming that Alchemy was fifteen minutes away, he calmly placed a hand on her shoulder.

"What did you do?"

IC:

"Remember when I got up to get a new Hawaiian Punch? Well...I lifted his vodka and marinated your stromboli with it when it looked like you guys were done with it. Plus..."

"Plus?"

...

"Well...that demon's been in that can for longer than you'd think. It couldn't hold it forever."

IC:

Seconds after Desde mentioned the word "demon", a very, very loud click sounded from just behind her. Almost cheerfully, Rebekah lifted a revolver of size that just about qualified it as a hand cannon.

For his part, the teacher lunged under the desk.

"Demon? Where'd it go? If it bleeds, I can kill it."

IC: Corinthia

Corinthia shuddered. "That thing didn't come prepackaged in the Hawaiian Punch, did it?"

IC: Sighing, he placed his other hand on her other shoulder. Almost tired green eyes gaze piercingly into her ocean blues, and a single utterance sums up his feelings on the matter.

"The shit I put up with, Desde."

Pulling out a lighter with a cross etched in, a gift from one of his father's Templar buddies, he gently takes the plate and places it, and the can on top of it, on the windowsill, removing the blinds and calmly scooting Corin's chair, desk, books, and self roughly five feet back.

This proves a wise maneuver, as the meat and cheese filled pastry erupts into flame, spewing thick, jet-black smoke out into the air outside.

Sitting back down with a straight face, he tells her one thing stoically. "You're cooking the next one."

IC:

"Oh."

The can was caught with ease. After staring at it for a moment, Rebekah shook it, testing to see if the roar was repeated. And, much to her satisfaction, it was. She dropped the revolver back into her backpack, forgetting about it almost instantly.

"That's weeeeeeeeeeird."

IC: Jolek held out a hand, motioning for Rebekah to please give it to him thank you.

IC:

Rebekah looked from Jolek, to Desde. Her expression and the slight tilt of her head asked her question for her.

Should I?

IC: ...

"What, is he a pet?" he asked incredulously.

IC: He stared flatly at the totally not Vampire in front of him, before grimacing and seating himself once more, done with it.

IC:

After listening to Desde for a moment, Rebekah tucked the can under her arm so Jolek couldn't get at it.

"She says no. Sorry."
