IC: Jolek, having finished the assigned work, was drawing as well.

Of course, his drawing was a tad different, what with the F-22A engaged in aerial combat with no less than three dragons, a Pteranodon, and was being supported by him, Mag, and Dorian, who seemed to be flying a tank.

After he'd begun to work on another drawing, he decided he'd spread his work around. Quickly folding the drawing into a paper airplane, he sent it high as soon as the teacher turned his head, then resumed his drawing of an armored warrior locked in combat with Captain Falcon, glancing up every few seconds to track the plane's course.

As the Genesis copy would say, Fweeeeeeeeee.

Meanwhile, on the other side of class, the fangirl was just about to begin a drawing of her own, when a paper airplane collided with her head.

"Huh?" she mumbled, glancing around to see who could have thrown it. Certainly not Maglod, he wasn't like that. She glanced next to him, as the boy glanced up, seeing she was the one who discovered the plane. To her befuddlement, he shrugged, and resumed his work on whatever he was drawing.

So, it looks like he wanted to know where it ended up, but didn't care who saw it? Then again, he could just be faking...

He gave a shrug of her own, as she unfolded the aircraft, and appraised the drawing with a raised eyebrow and a quiet chuckle. She threw the boy a curious, yet amused look.

He flashed her a quick grin of his own, before returning to his work, tounge sticking out ever so slightly in concentration.

IC: Dorian

Dorian, meanwhile, was getting acquanted with everyone that was around him in his Music Applications class. As he walked towards his seat in the auditorium, he saw the teacher and saluted in greeting. Dominick Vail, co-owner of his father's bar and Music Applications teacher for the high school, grinned and nodded before standing up on the stage.

After the ten minutes of introductions, Dom asked for volunteers to come up and sing a song to show the newer students what the class would cover when it came to hands-on crap. Dorian stood up and tossed his hair cleanly over one eye and eliciting sighs from most of the girls in the classroom. Dorian jumped onto the stage, picking out a couple guitarists and a drummer. He picked the microphone up and grinned, clearly at home on the stage.

One minute later...

On we sweep with thrashing oar,
Our only goal will be the WESTERN SHORE!

Dorian bent back and screamed the last words, letting his hair wave wildly around his eyes, to the screams of the girls and the wild chants of the guys as he powered on through a bass-filled Led Zeppelin cover.

As he finished up the song, he ran his hands through his copper-colored hair, grinning as the adrenaline from his performance wore off and he jumped cleanly off the stage.

I wonder if the others are having this much fun right now, he thought with a mental chuckle.

IC: "Guh." Jolek blurted out, slumping foreward in boredom.

"Something to share, Mr. Highwind?"

"Bored."

"You have work to do, don't you?"

"No."

"You're finished, then?"

"Yes."

"Everything?"

"Everything."

"Really?"

Jolek gave the teacher a flat look before folding up his work in to what must have been the thirtieth paper airplane that day, and sent it flying towards the teacher.

...

"Hm. All correct. Very good, Mr. Highwind. Any work from other classes?"

"No."

"Well, I suppose you are free to socialise with anyone else who's finished. It looks like your friend Maglod is, you can talk if you keep it down and don't distract the others."

"'... Can't say Mag's doin' it on purpose, but okay." he said with a shrug, turning towards the half-elf and examining what he was currently illustrating.

His stomach rumbled fiercely causing a few students to glance in his direction and snicker.

"Dammit, I knew one Kit Kat wouldn't hold. Dorian did too, the rat basta--" Jolek began to grumble under his breath, before he was cut off by a shadow falling over him.

"Hungry?" he heard a voice ask, and turned to see the fangirl from earlier offering him a--Score! Three Musketeers!-- with an amused smile.

"Yeah, I am. Why might this concern you?" he asked, accepting his favorite candy bar of all time and opening the wrapper.

"You looked like you could use something and I knew I wasn't gonna eat that after everything else in my lunch bag, so I thought, 'Why not?'"

"Can't say I'd know. Anyways, thanks!" Jolek said, taking a bite.

He leaned forward to her desk, as she'd decided to choose to sit in the (oddly) empty one to his left, and narrowed his eyes and dropped his voice.

"Okay, what's your game?" he asked her straight, no dancing around the subject.

Thankfully, she had the sense to not attempt to hide it from him, however tempting it was to say, "Super Smash Bros.".

"I figured it would be a good idea to try and get to know him better, if only through his friend."

"Well, ya made the right choice, goin' up to him wouldn'ta done you any good. I'm sure you're well aware of how he thinks of his fangirls?"

"Yeah, and honestly, I've kind of been questioning whether I should even try to go for Mag. I mean, sure, he's hot 'n' all, but he just treats girls who try to get with him like crap, except for that one she-elf, who he really seems happy with." she said with a small sigh.

"And, uh..." she added with a slight blush. "Now that I've stopped being clompletely obsessed with him, unlike the rest of the female student body, I couldn't help but notice that you don't look all that bad, either."

...

She glanced up at the young swordsman, somewhat tenatively.

His eyes were wide, and he pulled back, expression a mixture of confusion, suprise, and... shyness?

Fangirl noticing people besides Mag/Dorian?
Realizing that he honestly doesn't want the affection?
Me, attractive?

*Attempting to Process*
*System failure
*

"Uh, you okay?" the girl asked, waving a hand in front of him.

"I...uh...wait, what?"

"Look, I'm not saying I've given up on Maglod, I'm just noticing that, 'Hey, this guy doesn't look all that bad either', alright? It's not as if I like you or anything, I'm just pointing that out." she explained.

Unfortunately for her, the boy was now thoroughly lost.

"Uh... okay?"

IC: Dorian

Dorian walked into Algebra class, having been given the period off by Dom after his kickass Led Zeppelin redo. The first couple days of class were mainly just introductions anyway, so Dorian had no purpose to be there. He might as well chill out with his friends.

He pulled over a chair in front of Jolek's table. Mag was distracted by whatever the hell Mag got distracted by, and Jolek was talking to some girl.

I'll just wait.

IC: Akwardmomentshitwhatdo--

"Oh, hey Dorian!" Jolek said, noticing the arrival and thanking whichever gods had decided to smile upon him in his time of need.

"Period off?" he asked, taking Dorian's musical taslent and his relationship with the teacher into consideration.

Claire appraised the newcomer with a curious gaze.

A shrug.

Meh, I don't see what's so great about him. Just looks like a bit like a Genesis copy to me.

She took a moment to process what she just thought.

I really need to lay off the Final Fantasy.

IC: "Much thanks to Dom, then." Jolek said, opening the bottle and taking a swig.

Dropping the conversation to a low whisper, he continued.

"Man, you're a lifesaver. Couldn'ta walked in at a better time. Also, the lady in red over there's apparently questioning whether she wants to continue one of Mag's fangirls. Unprecedented behavior on your front too, correct?"

Claire looked up at the two, wondering what they were talking about.

At the same time, she also was thinking about Jolek's reaction to her little problem.

What had him so flustered? I just told him that he was pretty cute, not anything like I was gonna go after him if I had no luck with Maglod...

Dorian flicked his eyes over to Mag, then Jolek, then the girl.

Dorian sighed.

"Same with me," he said softly, staring at his schedule, "but if you start deconstructing me in one of your classic bad ideas, I will throw your ass out the window before you can even chuckle."

He said the words stoicly, but slowly and surely, a grin started to stretch across his face.

"It's gonna be sick."

Sweet, looks like I share their classes too.

She allowed herself a small grin of triumph.

Dorian's face may have been golden to Jolek, but deep down, he was starting to feel a prick of annoyance. When would these fangirls stop...?

"I came from Music Apps," the girl said with an irresistably cute grin. She turned to Dorian, her hand reaching for his.

"You did the BEST LED ZEPPELIN COVER I've ever heard," she said, an excited gleam in her eye. "The way you owned that stage, the way you could hit those scream notes with your voice without making it sound like you were being mauled by a bear...it was so HOT."

Piss. Shit. Fuck.

"Wow."

"Huh?"

"I guess I can see why they'd get annoyed with us. Do we really sound like that?"

"Well, I haven't heard you be at all similar to that, but in general, that's typically how fangirls are."

"Well...Maybe. Dorian usually doesn't let himself get cornered like this. Let's see what happens if I distract him..." Jolek trailed off, folding the Captain Falcon vs. an Armored Warrior drawing into the umpteenth paper airplane of his.
